We plan to reach all men without a “home church? no matter their status or racial origin. Those perceived to be the last, least and lost are our main target. It is our endeavor to gather those that do not fit the “holiness molds? of some churches but are interested in knowing God and His saving grace. We reckon that there is a significant majority unable to attend church services on account of feeling judged unfairly while in fact the love of God has room for them. We are also interested in touching those with social and physical needs that have a bearing on spiritual wellbeing of the people.
We consider our kids to be the greatest heritage from God. We believe in training up children in the way they should go pursuant to Proverbs 6:22. The children department consists of three sections of the LLCF Junior Church where the basics of knowing and enjoying God, social ethics and moral foundation are taught by determined and self motivated instructors. We cater for all ages and our goal is to ensure learning takes place in a safe and fun filled environment.
We believe the singles have the advantage of serving God with undivided loyalty. Being single is not an anomaly, or a social failure; nor is it a basis for misery and self pity. Singles are entitled to a dignified full life just like everyone else. By devoting their efforts to please the Lord unreservedly, giving themselves to the affairs of church and community, the LLCF singles embody the love of God (1Corinthians 7:32-34). Our singles ministry is a transitioning phase where maturing youth are received, guided and steered towards responsible adulthood. Our singles are advocates of new thinking, mentorship, leadership development, career progression and adventure. Relevant exciting, edifying and challenging programs form part of the singles calendar of events focusing on physical, social, economic and spiritual wellbeing. The couples’ ministry at LLCF is a one stop all round family life education and counseling pool. Faced with a challenging and rapid transitioning society lifestyle, our couples realize there is no time to leave a family to chance. The LLCF couples ministry is determined to recover and restore integrity and dignity in marriage and family. Our goal is to empower families to discover and implement family defenses against social evils that lead to separation and divorce. We firmly believe that as a ministry, we owe a duty of care to those looking up to us for counsel. To this end, we provide and plan for pastoral counseling, marriage counseling, family life education, fun events, and retreats. Our meetings are lively, dynamic and characterized with open straight talk. We welcome you to interact with us if you are seeking fellowship, renewal or simply fun.
We believe that all men need spiritual guidance. Men’s relationship with God, family, other people and even organizations has been seriously eroded by the prevailing deteriorating trust and dependability. Most people have lost confidence in God and even earthly systems. It is our hope that we can play a vital role in restoring faith, trust, love, hope and confidence through pastoral care and appropriate counseling. We provide guidance and counseling to our contacts through approved church ministers, family networks and referral service.
We conduct praise and worship in reverence to our God. It is an essential part of our Sunday worship service. Our aim is to teach people praise and worship of God, which we believe is the whole duty of man. This area will be developed in order to cater for progressive needs of those people with talents in music and singing.
We strongly believe in written and recorded information. It is our endeavor to produce most of our information in pamphlets, CDs, DVDs and video tapes. We hold the principle that “if it is not written, it is not important?. We take information, education and communication seriously. Our website is designed to be interactive, informative and reflective of our image. You may order sermon CDs or DVDs from our media department or visit our website to listen live broadcast of our messages. Further, we host important web links that may be of help to your find quick solutions to information based concerns.
We conduct an hour of intensive bible study. This involves teaching and searching scriptures with committed members. It is the process by which people get rooted in the word of God and defend themselves against temptations and social evils.
Our aim is to touch God on behalf of those we Minister to. We fast and pray to unlock and close spiritual doors. This is our way of renewing our strength in God and destroying demonic strongholds in the kingdom of darkness.
